What Patients Ask
Can this be combined with dental insurance?
No. The Healthy Smiles VIP Club is an exclusive discount plan designed specifically for patients without dental insurance or for those looking to replace traditional insurance. It cannot be combined with insurance policies, secondary claims, or other promotional discounts on the same treatments. However, if your current insurance plan has reached its annual maximum limit, you can choose to use your VIP membership pricing for any subsequent out-of-pocket care.
How do monthly or annual recurring payments work?
You choose monthly or annual billing at enrollment through our secure Clerri member portal. It’s a 12-month membership with automatic renewal, which you can manage or cancel anytime from your Member Portal.
Is there a waiting period to start treatment?
No. Unlike traditional insurance, your benefits begin immediately once you enroll — there’s no waiting period before you can use your included cleanings, exams, and other covered services.
Can I use this for cosmetic or major treatments?
Yes — every VIP plan includes 15% savings on additional restorative and cosmetic dental services performed at our practice, beyond the preventive care already included in your plan. Implants and Invisalign — higher-cost specialty services — receive 10% savings instead. This discount doesn’t apply to specialist services (periodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery) or dental hygiene products.
What if I need to cancel?
You may cancel anytime. If your cancellation request is received within the first 30 days of your annual contract term and no discounted services have been used yet, you’ll receive a full refund of membership fees paid to Clerri. Residents of certain states (AR, FL, LA, WA, CA, OK) may have additional refund rights — contact Clerri Member Support at member@clerri.com or (844) 965-5337 for details.
Can I add family members to my plan?
Yes — add any family member to your plan and save an additional 5% on their subscription.

Healthy Smiles VIP Club plans are dental discount membership plans and are NOT INSURANCE. Plan members pay periodic membership fees in exchange for access to discounts on certain identified dental services rendered by participating providers in accordance with the plan fee schedule. Plan members are obligated to pay dental providers directly for services rendered. Plan details, retail fees, and member savings may vary by plan, provider, and/or dental office location — see specific plan terms and conditions for details. Dental membership plans are not qualified health plans under the Affordable Care Act, and do not meet the minimum creditable coverage requirements under M.G.L.c. 111M and 956 CMR 5.00.
Plans are administered by Clerri LLC, the plan administrator and responsible discount plan organization; plans offered to consumers in the State of California are administered by The CDI Group, Inc. Plans are an annual contract and include an auto-renewal feature. You can opt out of auto-renewal at any time from the Member Portal. Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, and Washington residents may be entitled to a full refund regardless of whether any discounted dental services have been provided during the current term. California, Florida, and Oklahoma residents who cancel outside the first 30 days may be entitled to a pro-rata refund. You may cancel your plan membership at any time; you will receive a full refund of membership fees paid to Clerri if (i) the cancellation request is received within the first 30 days of the current annual contract term and (ii) no discounted dental services have been provided to any member(s) during the current term.
