Our practice has always been an early adopter of any technology, equipment and techniques that improve the patients’ experience and results. In this current environment, we apply this philosophy to maximize our patients and our team members’ health and safety while maintaining and broadening our reputation as dental care leader.
So to prevent transmission in our office, we include mandatory temperature readings. We also get the patients to fill out a COVID-19 form and use hand sanitizer. The patients and staff members must always wear masks while in the office. When scheduling appointments, we try to space patients to minimize possible contact with other patients in the waiting room. We also regularly clean and disinfect all the public areas and operatories. Our staff members are adequately equipped with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as face masks, face shields and lab coats. Lastly, we fog the office with registered and approved chemicals to reduce and limit its spread.
